How to choose the weight of a boat anchor:

If you have a small boat, up to 6 m (20′) long and with a total weight of up to 1000 kg, you can calculate the appropriate anchor weight using a simple formula:

• BOATS UP TO 3 m LENGTH = 4-5 % OF THE TOTAL BOAT WEIGHT
• BOATS 3 m –6 m LENGTH = 3 % OF THE TOTAL BOAT WEIGHT
• BOATS OVER 6 m LENGTH = 1-2 % OF THE TOTAL BOAT WEIGHT
